When puberty brings on her first Shift, Missy goes into the mountains for two years until finally learning to Change back. She can Change from fully human in one instant to a mountain lion in the next. Everyone assumes her two year disappearance was because she’d been kidnapped by a sexual predator that she managed to kill. She keeps her werecat nature a secret.

There is no pack, no pride of other werecats and no alpha. She’s a girl with fantastic abilities growing up and learning to do great things in today’s world, amongst humans. She only has her instincts to guide her and those drive her to train herself to extremes. She must control those instincts; dampening the wild predator is often necessary. Her raging hormones and enhanced senses require very strong controls; she explores what happens when those controls are relaxed.

The US Government’s Paranormal Branch has learned Missy’s secret and followed most of her activities. They have her FBI friend join their team, telling him that other supernaturals also exist but Missy is the only female werecat. They want Missy to go on to West Point and tell him that “being a vigilante is not what we want for this girl.”

But, what had started out as her simply trying to help protect another teenage girl eventually led to her being targeted by both the East Boston and New York criminal organizations. With some help from her FBI friend, she copes with crime bosses while finishing high school and starting out at West Point. She also gets some help from her new friends at West Point but makes some enemies there as well.

Even with all this help and her enhanced senses, Missy sure has her work cut out for her!

The US Government has avoided using supernaturals in the past, concerned that public knowledge of their existence will pose greater risks than any benefits. Missy and Tracy certainly have many friends in high places at the U. S. Government but those friends are finding it harder and harder to keep all the supernatural activities by these girls a secret. And, will any of Missy’s adventures affect her career at West Point?

But there are those who have other ideas about her being there. Can she handle all the responsibilities the Fates have given her, hide all her supernatural abilities and cope with those who are planning to destroy her?

The transition team does have concerns, however. Missy finally begins her senior year at West Point and for a while everything goes great. She has a nice roommate and has been tasked with an excellent leadership position. She is very pleased with all her studies and sports activities.

She also continues to celebrate each full moon with her pack back home. The three communities her friends have established with her support and funding are all thriving.

Then she learns her enemies may be targeting her yet again. Since they are not heeding her warnings, how will she deal with them this time?

Thankfully, she has that government agency helping her. But when that agency’s work dealing with threats in the Mid-East must also deal with what’s happening in Europe, they need her to help with that. The challenge is to somehow spend her nights as an invisible spy while her days continue being filled with life at the academy.

Although Missy is in her final semester at West Point, the threat of war in Europe is demanding more and more of her time. During the day, she attends classes and participates on her varsity teams, fulfills her demanding leadership roles and mentors younger cadets. But at night? Then, Missy finds a way to spy in her human form. This, of course, requires her to devote even more of her time to helping the government. She does still manage those full moon celebrations with her pack. Finding time with her soulmate becomes more and more difficult, however. As the days and weeks go by, the day she will finally graduate draws closer and closer. She will be commissioned as a second lieutenant and join her Special Forces team as their executive officer. She’s looking forward to her life ahead, serving in the Army and fulfilling her destiny!

Of course, she also has joined her Special Forces team as their executive officer and there are lots of added responsibilities which go along with that role. Then, too, she has that other role she plays in Russia, being a spy while also being a celebrity. One thing leads to another while doing that and soon she finds someone has targeted her for death. She will need lots of help in dealing with that situation and perhaps some changes will be needed for her role in Russia.

Of course, once she and Mike are married, they will then go on their honeymoon. What adventures might they have while doing that? Where will they go? And, what might await them when they finally return?
